Dear Parkside Middle School Community,
Hello Parkside Families! I am honored to introduce myself as the next principal of Parkside Middle School! I have been a member of our school community for the last seven years, serving as your devoted assistant principal. I am elated to have the opportunity to continue to lead our school on the path of excellence as your principal.
As a graduate of Prince William County Public Schools, I am starting my 26th year in education, the last 19 years as an assistant principal. I am dedicated, passionate, and focused on our continuous growth as we prepare our students with the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind to meet with success. Our students’ middle school journey should be met with the values of resiliency, inclusivity, and equitable opportunities. We will strive to create a thriving and nurturing environment for all students while addressing their emotional, physical and educational needs. I believe our community and parents are partners with us on this journey.
The Parkside community has a staff that is committed to the success of each student. Our staff is devoted and engaged with our stakeholders to ensure we are doing what is in the best interest of our students. As an educational leader, I believe in creating and fostering effective collaborative learning teams with high expectations that support academic growth. With our focus on our strategic plan, we have systems in place to continue to move the bar of excellence in learning and achievement for all. I believe it is our priority to maximize the learning potential of all of our students. This will be done through purposeful planning, active learning and quality instruction that creates an engaging classroom environment. I will be transparent in my communication as we work towards the common goal of student success.
I look forward to partnering with our school community, parents, staff and students as we create an environment of launching thriving futures for our students.
