Our Counseling Team will be updating this part of our webpage frequently.  We will add links and resources as they become available.  As we continue to learn about how this pandemic effects the way in which school is done, please know that we are thinking of each of our students, their families, and our community members.  We miss everyone!

Check out Mr. G and Ms. DiMisa as they discuss some ways to avoid social media burnout!

Course Requests:
One of the things we have been getting a lot of questions about is
rising 9th grade course requests.  Please know that Ms. Wines is working with our high school directors on providing them with any and all information needed to schedule you into the appropriate core class (language arts, math, science, and social studies).  The directors were provided with recommendations from your teachers on these subjects.  Some of you had not had a chance to turn in your course request forms and/or meet with high school counselors for academic advising.  As of right now we are asking that the first week back after spring break, please bring in your request forms.  We will be providing more information on when academic advising will occur for students zoned to go to Osbourn Park and Brentsville.

Updating Parent/Guardian Contact:  It is SO important that parent/guardian contact information is updated as this will be the main form of communication to parents and students.  In ParentVue you can update contact information.  Once you have done so our registrar will get a notification and verify the updated information and it will generate into our student information system to allow for robo calls and school generated emails to be sent.  Please make sure that you are checking your emails and answering the calls from the school in order to receive the most up to date information.  If you have questions about this please feel free to reach out to our registrar, Mrs. Bruce (brucedd@pwcs.edu) or our ITC, Mrs. Heath (heathmb@pwcs.edu).

Student Email Account Access:  Some students may not have their passwords or are having trouble accessing their school email accounts.  This is a very important tool to have for our students as many of their teachers are contacting them through their email.  Please reach out to our ITC, Mrs. Heath (heathmb@pwcs.edu), if you are having trouble accessing email or need assistance with your password and account.
