I'm excited and happy to have your child in my class this year! We will be learning all about the body, how it moves, and different ways that it works. My goal is to help every student to become more active in their daily life and make smart decisions when it comes to their health and wellness. I will strive to instill responsibility, confidence, integrity, and character throughout the year so they can grow up to be contributing members of their community. I am very passionate about "getting the lightbulb to turn on" and seeing that "Ah-ha" moment. Children are our future and we must do all that we can to prepare them for what's ahead.
Parkside has been my home for 9 years. I am currently the PE Dept Head and Athletic/Activities Director. I coached football, wrestling, and track throughout my years but have recently stepped down as a coach for football and wrestling due to other responsibilities. I will still be the Head Coach for Boy's Track in the spring. Also, I will be holding "BrickFit Bootcamp" on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting after Thanksgiving to give students the opportunities to experience various forms of exercise they might not have yet been exposed to. The club will be a hour long each day and will conclude in March. Sign up sheets and more information will be given out to students as we get closer
